What does this qualification cover?

This qualification will focus on the study of possible causes of violence in the workplace and how to reduce the risk of workplace violence and harassment. There can be no room for violence and or bullying in the workplace, and this course aims to raise awareness and understanding of key issues surrounding violence in the workplace to help ensure a safer working environment. You’ll learn about important policies and procedures, why workplace violence may occur, and how the risk of workplace violence can be reduced by good practices. The qualification will also give you the skills to champion equality and diversity within your workplace and make it more inclusive.

Who is this course suitable for?

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. It is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of Workplace Violence and Harassment across any sector.

How is this qualification structured?

To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully complete four mandatory units.

• How to contribute to a positive and safe working environment
• How to reduce and effectively deal with violence in the workplace
• Understanding aggression, bullying and harassment in the workplace and how it can be prevented
• Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the benefits to individuals and organisations

What are the entry requirements?

• Learners must be 16+
• Resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than to study
• Must not be already on an apprenticeship
