National Apprenticeship Week 2022
This year is the 15th annual National Apprenticeship Week! Which is promoted as a celebration of apprenticeships across England and is a time to recognise and applaud apprenticeship success stories across the country. Apprenticeship employers use the opportunity to promote the success of their apprentices and highlight the huge benefits to other employers, of all sizes, who are thinking of taking on an apprentice.
Our plans for NAW2022:
We are thrilled to be hosting a range of events from the 7 – 13 of February to celebrate #NationalApprenticeshipWeek. The celebration will focus on the positive differences that apprenticeships and traineeships can make to employers and young peoples futures.
Throughout the week, we are setting up our ‘build the futures basecamp’ in The Marlands Shopping Centre Southampton. Our team will be out and about doing meet and greets, ready to offer career guidance and advice for those who are looking to take their next step towards their future. As well as loads of fun activities promoting the great things we do that help inspire ambition, we are also using this time to praise & congratulate our learners who in the past 12 months have demonstrated extraordinary talent, growth or promise!
If you see us out and about don’t be shy come and say hi! Look out for the big green building blocks of kiwi.
Our MD Michael Steel will be out doing his annual Day in the life of an Apprentice this year brought to you by The Peter Cooper Group.
Michael will be putting on his overalls and getting stuck in! Stay tuned to our social media stories for updates and hopefully many a photo opportunity.
Be sure to follow us on all of our social media channels to never miss a thing! With the launch of our new morning show series, KIWI TODAY!
Host’s Sarah & David will be there with all the latest news and updates as well as some big-name guests giving you the lowdown on all things #NAW2022.
Apprentices across the country will also be celebrating throughout the week, with engagement and events in schools and colleges. Many current and former apprentices will go back to school to tell their stories. Some may take to social media to use their or their employer’s audience to amplify this message. Hopefully attracting the next generation of apprentices, so they too can fire up their future careers.
